Goodyear Spring Tire- tested on a Lunar Rover

NASA and Goodyear collaborated to build the ultimate off-road tire. The wire tires are composed by layers and layers of springs, designed to withstand the most extreme environments possible.

These tires can withstand impacts and survive much better than your average inflated rubber. Since the material is made of springs they also provide excellent traction and durability.

The Spring Tire received the top prize at the R&D 100 in Orlando, Florida this year.

Already tested on a lunar rover and will take part of mission to the Moon in the near future.
