Aircraft carrier decontamination
US Navy sailors conduct a wash down of the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, off the Japanese coast, as part of efforts to decontaminate the vessel from radioactive plume it hit on 13 March while conducting a relief mission. USS Ronald Reagan Commander Ron Rutan said the contamination would not pose a health risk, but should be eliminated nevertheless.
