Google search volumes

By using WebGL, the peeps over at Mountain View have put together a ‘Search Globe’, with different colors indicating different languages.

The statistics shown on the ‘Search Globe’ is of a single day’s worth of Google queries, in average, and is shown with beautiful, skyscraper-infused visualization. Does look very pretty and cool, but of course you’ll need a browser that can handle WebGL, say, a Google Chrome? Actually Firefox’s also fine. Hopefully you’ve got either one of the installed on your computer that is.
