Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG ConvertibleMercedes-Benz has just announced the SLS AMG Convertible Roadster supercar, with a cloth soft-top that can be opened or closed at speeds up to 31 miles per hour.

Mercedes engineers had to up the structure by additional bracing to both the window frame and transmission tunnel to increased strength and overall rigidity of the aluminum spaceframe.

Power still comes from 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft, AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sport transmission and 0- 60 in 3.7 seconds.
