NASA photos show Footprints on the Moon
In new photographs taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, we can see the landing sites of some lunar craft, as well as the tracks left by astronauts Alan Bean and Pete Conrad, the crew of the Apollo 12 mission in 1969.

LRO captured the sharpest images ever taken from space of the Apollo 12, 14 and 17 landing sites.
Images show the twists and turns of the paths made when the astronauts explored the lunar surface.
