Huge white diamond recovered

This 550-carat white diamond is of exceptional quality, making it one of the world’s most important diamond discoveries to date. Has been unveiled and named the Letseng Star, by Gem Diamonds in partnership with the Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho. The diamond was recovered on 19th August 2011 and is the 14th largest white diamond ever to be discovered. The huge diamond is pictured here with a yellow diamond.
