It is very complicated to fly into space. Those pictures of the shuttle Atlantis cockpit reveal just how astronauts confronted by a huge array of buttons and screens.

The shuttle program ended in July. Now Atlantis is going on display at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, from the end of 2012.
