The Hiriko car project

The “Hiriko” (Basque word for “urban”) is an electric two-seater car, with motors in the wheels and which folds up like a stroller, for easy parking.

A very small revolutionary fold-up designed in Basque, Spain, as the answer to urban stress and pollution. Is hitting Europe’s cities in 2013.

The Hiriko is a development of a new solution for the new urban mobility as conceptualised under the “Citycar” concept.
