First 3D Printed Jaw transplant
The first-ever 3D printed lower jaw made of titanium powder, surgically implanted with complete success.
The recipient regained her ability to speak a few hours after the surgery.
The method was developed by the BIOMED Research Institute at Hasselt University in Belgium.
