The Aquarius Project by Japan-based Eco Marine Power, was started with the aim of developing a cost effective commercial system for utilizing wind power and solar energy on ships such as bulk carriers and tankers.

This eco-friendly marine power system will make shipping cleaner and greener in the years ahead by harnessing the limitless power of wind and sun.

Will also reduce ships fuel consumption by 10-20% or more annually and also lower vessels noxious gas emissions.
