Large meteor in the sky over the UK

A large meteor seen in the sky on Saturday 3 March 2012 at approx 21:30 over the UK, near a rainbow light display. Photographer Mike Ridley.

Filmed on Saturday 3 March 2012 at approx 21:30. A family outing to the laser lights displayed at St. Mary’s Island Whitley Bay and captured a bit of video of a meteorite going overhead. The bright spot in the video is the moon and as it is disappearing in the distance it is traveling south.
