NTV Italo high speed train

NTV -Nuovo Transporto Viaggiatori is the first private operator on the Italian high speed rail network and the first operator in the world to use the new Alstom AGV train, which holds the high speed train record.

NTV with its fleet of 25 Europe’s most modern trains Italo, will travel with a rich entertainment experiences and services. Will debut on April 28th servicing the line between Milan and Naples.

The combination of this technological innovation with composite materials and traction systems brought to even further heights of perfection has made it possible to lighten Italo by approximately 70 tons, compared to the trains manufactured by the competition.
The train offers extremely high environmental performance, with energy consumption reduced by 15%.
