TURANOR PlanetSolar completes its trip around the world

First around the world with solar energy! On September 27th of 2010, the TURANOR PlanetSolar, the world’s largest solar-powered boat, set out from Monaco on a quest to become the first boat to circumnavigate the planet using the power of the Sun. After 18 months, on May 4, the boat successfully completed that quest, arriving back in Monaco.
