15 years ago the Computer beat Garry Kasparov

15 years ago on May 11, 1997, IBM‘s Deep Blue computer beat the world chess champion Garry Kasparov, in a match that lasted several days, a landmark in artificial intelligence.

IBM Research scientist Dr. Murray Campbell, one of the original developers, talks about the challenges and breakthroughs of building Deep Blue.
