The structure has a characteristic kinetic facade of fins which move in ocean-like patterns, is 140 meters long and 3 to 13 meters high.
The building stands out with the climate design and the biomimetic approach of the kinetic façade.
During daytime the laminas of the façade are used to control light conditions in the Best Practice Area, and after the Sun sets, the visual effect of the laminas, is intensified by LEDs.
After the EXPO the pavilion will stay open to residents and tourists. Is one of Korea’s most innovative designed buildings.
