World’s Most Expensive Camera (video)

Vintage 1923 Leica sold for $2.79m, in 21ST WestLicht camera auction on 12th May 2012, breaking the world record for the most expensive camera.  Image by WestLicht camera auction

This 1923 camera command such a high price because only 25 of them were produced, and 12 of these cameras as known to still exist.

For the 5th time, the world record for the most expensive camera ever sold was broken at a WestLicht auction in Vienna.
