Private space exploration company SpaceX successfully delivers Dragon spacecraft into low Earth orbit. It is the first private spacecraft bound for the International Space Station.  Image credit NASA – Space X

Today at 3:44 Eastern Daylight Time, SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies), launches from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station sending the Dragon spacecraft into orbit on its way to a rendezvous with the International Space Station (ISS), to deliver 460 kilograms of cargo, including food and disposables.
