World’s Largest Swimming Pool
The Crystal Lagoon at the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Chile, has been officially recognised by The Guinness Book of Records, as the largest swimming pool in the world . The pool is big enough to sail a boat on, is over a kilometer long and as deep as 35 meters.

The waters of the Lagoon have the transparency and intense turquoise color of tropical seas. This has been made possible thanks to an advanced technology, developed by the company Crystal Lagoons.
It covers eight hectares and holds 250,000 cubic metres (66 millions gallons) of water.
