Astronomer insists there is a Planet X
Rodney Gomes, an astronomer at the National Observatory of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, says that the distortion to orbits of asteroids at the end of our solar system, beyond Pluto, imply that a mystery planet is orbiting our sun. Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
Gomes said that there is enduring evidence for the existence of a planet on the edge of our solar system, four times the size of Earth.
By observing the orbits of 92 Kuiper belt objects, some of them appeared to be tugged off-course, compared to their expected orbits.
