Launched Nov. 26, 2011, early on Monday morning the Rover will enter the martian atmosphere and begin a series of complex manoeuvres to bring it gently onto the surface of the Red Planet.
They include a radical floating ‘sky crane’ as part of a descent dubbed the ‘seven minutes of terror‘.

The landing will be shown in Times Square, on the big screen.
