Natural History Museum proposal by BIG architects

The proposal for the new Natural History Museum by BIG architects‘ in the Botanical Garden situated in the center of Copenhagen, in Denmark.

Featuring a characteristic overhead perforated stone surface, which allows light to overflow through the museum interior.

The existing Geological garden stands as the public entrance plaza where all activities and services are.

Both the Geological and Botanical gardens incorporate underground exhibition functions.
