Neil Armstrong standing on the surface of the moon and Apollo 11

Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon. Most of the photos from the lunar surface during Apollo 11 are of astronaut Buzz Aldrin. This is a rare photo showing Neil Armstrong standing on the surface of the moon.   Image credit: NASA.  Watch the videos of the very first moon landing of the Apollo 11 mission in 1969!
