Spherical glass lens Solar Energy

Barcelona-based architect André Broessel has developed of a spherical glass solar energy generator. The system uses a ball lens and specific structure to improve energy efficiency by 35%.

The new solar generator concept concentrates diffused daylight or moonlight to produce energy.

This allows the use of multiple technologies, such as concentrated solar power (CPV/CSP) with photovoltaic or thermal applications.
