Battersea Power Station will be redeveloped
After completing the purchase of the site for £400m, the new Malaysian owners of Battersea Power Station, have pledged that the historic site will finally be redeveloped.
The Battersea Power Station, built in the 1930s and 1950s, is a decommissioned coal-fired power station located on the south bank of the River Thames in South West London.
The new owners plans to begin renovating the London Landmark in 2013, while preserving the power station’s iconic architecture. The development will include apartments, offices, a shopping center, a hotel, an art space.
