Underwater bar, Maldives

Subsix bar at Per Aquum’s Niyama resort in the Maldives, is the world’s first underwater bar and music club. Located 500 meters offshore and submerged six meter (subsix) in the Indian Ocean.

The bar sits 500 meters off the beach, accessible only by boat, was constructed entirely on land and then submerged into the sea.
