Boeing delivers first 787 Dreamliner
Boeing has officially delivered its first 787 Dreamliner to Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA), after three years of delays. The Dreamliner had originally been scheduled for delivery in 2008, but Boeing has suffered a string of setbacks, the latest being an onboard fire during test flights in January.

It’s built by Sikorsky Aircraft and based on the CH-53D Sea Stallion design, though the Super Stallion has added a third engine, seventh rotor blade, and tilted the rear rotor 20 degrees off vertical to provide added lift.
