Zaha Hadid Architects in association with AECOM, will be the designers of Al Wakrah, the 2022 FIFA world cup stadium, in Doha, Qatar.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup Stadium constructed on a modular design with traditional Islamic architecture, has a seating capacity of 45,120 spectators.

The project will include other sporting facilities and an aquatic center.

The cooling requirements will be established by renewable energy technology systems.
