Airbus ‘flying doughnut’ new plane

Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturer, designed a futuristic new plane resembling a flying doughnut.

Airbus seeks patent from the European Patent Office, for “a flying wing” plane design.

The wings of this futuristic aircraft sweep back from the nose, embedding the fuselage and tale.

The passenger cabin in the design is circular.

The patent application was submitted to protect the company’s intellectual property.
