Answering work emails at night is unhealthy

Turning off our phones at night is important because it ensures we’re more responsible the following day at work.

Researchers from the University of Florida, Michigan State University, and the University of Washington found that sleeping with our mobile phone next to our heads defers our dreams and REM cycles when they buzz or light up with new messages. Smartphones could be linked to disrupted sleep and and disengagement from work the next day.
