Audi, along with designer Stephanie Behringer have now come up with a fantastic concept for a futuristic looking yacht, named AUDI Trimaran Yacht.
This new yacht that has been designed as part of a graduate project from the German designer under the supervision of the AUDI Concept Design in Munich, Germany envisions the creation of vessel with two jet skis integrated within a motorboat.
Explaining the design, Behringer said:
“The new concept integrates two jet skis within a motorboat. The hull’s architecture is based on a trimaran (a boat with multiple hulls), consisting of a main center hull which is supported by two smaller outrigger hulls on either side of the boat. Inside each of these two outrigger pods, one jet ski is stored.”
The trimaran yacht will be powered by two AUDI TDI (turbo-charged injection) diesel engines and the integrated jet skis are designed to be electric powere.
The diesel engine when in use are equally supported by the boat’s electric power that enables the yacht to cruise at high speeds without using too much fuel. The deck can accommodate as many as 12 people and to make room for more.
