I expect autonomous vehicles to maintain legal, safe and efficient travel in lane, all the way from/to start end points. I consider quite likely that autonomous vehicles will increase safety for other cars, but reduce safety for cyclists, pedestrians and wild life. I would trust to send my kids to school in an autonomous vehicle. But i sure wouldn”t trust other”s autonomous vehicles not to hit my kids walking across roads on the way to school.
