The BAC Mono (Briggs Automotive Company; Mono as in monoposto, or one seat), boasts a better power-to-weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron, as well it should with such an unappealing name.
Levity aside, the MONO is a the product of the Briggs’ brothers engineering prowess and some very impressive parts. A Cosworth-sourced engine produces 280bhp, which gets the one-seater to 60mph in an unbelievable 2.8 seconds. The naturally aspirated 2.3 liter unit is mated to a six speed sequential Hewland transmission with paddle shifting. Other premium parts include Sach adjustable dampers, AP Racing brakes and bespoke OZ wheels with Kumho rubber.
