The Carapace gives birth to great wines like Montefalco Sagrantino.
It is a sculpture in which one can live, work and create magnificent wines.
“The Carapace was born from the Lunelli family dream of building a winery that was a shrine for Sagrantino wine. From the long standing friendship with Arnaldo Pomodoro and their previous collaboration – in which the Master created “Centenarium”, the sculpture that celebrates the Ferrari centennial– came the idea to entreat him to design the winery.”
Anraldo Pomodoro said: “For the first time in my life I could experience the emotion of walking, talking and drinking inside one of my works”.
