Cigarette Racing Team makes speed boats that’ll outrun just about anything on the water.
AMG and Ducati, as you may recall, shacked up together in Los Angeles last year when they announced their partnership in the MotoGP series. AMG partnered in similar fashion with the Cigarette Racing Team in Miami, where they presented a special liveried offshore racing boat at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show.
The Cigarette 42X Ducati Edition is a 42-foot speed boat with a pair of 1,100hp Mercury Racing engines capable of speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour. Cigarette says it’s included a number of innovative new features in the boat’s design, but Ducati’s participation seems largely confined to the badass paint scheme.
