Scientist Adam Summers, in a photo series called Cleared, bleaches dead fish to reveal their stunning inner anatomy and to expose their complex insides.

Each fish is dyed to expose their skeletal tissue, then a digestive enzyme called Trypsin removes the protein from the specimens, but leaves the collagen.
The remains bathed in glycerine, where he then poses and shoots them fully submerged.
This processes dates back almost 40 years and used in Comparative Vertebrate Biomechanics.
