EcoMow is a small self-fueled mower and grass pellet harvester. It uses the grassy biomass that it harvests as fuel.
EcoMow processes the biomass that it does not use into a dried pellet form which can be used for other applications such as heating or power generation.
EcoMow is a group of engineers and business students from George Mason University.
We are developing a platform for harvesting and processing grassy biomass, and a fuel system technology to take advantage of the produced pellet fuel. This technology will be attractive to multiple market segments, and the value will be different for each segment.
By lowering the cost barrier to using biomass fuel sources, we hope to provide an eco-friendly renewable solid fuel technology that can be retrofitted into existing vehicles. In established economies we can significantly shift energy use from fossil fuels to biomass sources while lowering the energy cost.
