The winning proposal of the Haikou Towers by Henn Architects are designed to become the heart of the new Central Business District of Haikou, a tropical island in the South China Sea.
The famous Berlin design and research studio designed an overall building area 1.5 million square meters, with height ranging from 150 to 450m and consisting of 10 towers. The master-plan includes large office spaces on the lower floors and an unobstructed view from the hotel rooms on the upper levels. The hotel lobbies will be located on the 72nd floor and from the 77th to the 100th floors the hotel will be more than 46.000 square meters.
