HMS Illustrious for Royal navy Aircraft Carrier concept

HMS Illustrious a future concept for Royal navy Aircraft Carrier, designed by BMT Nigel Gee and Sigmund Yacht Design.

According to the UK Ministry of Defense, the ship will be decommissioned and any innovative proposals from any organization are welcome.

The HMS Illustrious triple forms placed on the deck, “are inspired by sails from clipper ships and give the concept a powerful outline for all to see as well as being elegant and very purposeful. Sculpted forms make for unrivalled living areas, practical space and an advanced aesthetic to make sure that it will be a yacht of beauty and purpose for years to come.”
