Höweler + Yoon Architecture of Boston, USA, won the Audi Urban Future Award 2012. Their project looks for the reinvention of the Boston-Washington, metropolitan region called Boswash.

Howeler + Yoon Architecture won the Audi Urban Future Award 2012

In an active effort to shape the transition to a new era of mobility, Audi announced the Audi Urban Future Initiative.

Höweler + Yoon Architecture focuses on the community and the reorganization of transport to a highly technical and continually flowing main artery, merging the individual and public means of transportation.

Rupert Stadler, chairman of the executive board of AUDI AG, said:

“The winning proposals are a visionary document setting out what is required for cities of the future. This city dossier will be a specific set of instructions about how to plan or remodel a metropolitan region, in order to tackle increasing density.”
