KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plans to launch a service in 2012 that will enable you to choose seat mates based on their Facebook and LinkedIn profiles. The new check-in system, will allow passengers to choose someone who shares their interests.
KLM will let passengers select who to sit next to on flights using social media such as Facebook. The Dutch airline, part of Star Alliance, will introduce the app next month. KLM says “meet and seat” is aimed at networking, but will some abuse it to join the Mile High Club?
