After twenty months of planing, yesterday, successfully ended one of the largest salvage operations in history, that lasted 19 hours, on the shipwrecked Costa Concordia, which smashed into a small Italian island.    Watch the video time-lapse…

The ship capsized in January 2012, killing 32 people.

Franco Porcellacchia, a representative of the ship’s owners, Costa Crociere, said: “We completed the parbuckling operation a few minutes ago the way we thought it would happen and the way we hoped it would happen.”
