The racer ‘Lola-Drayson B12/69EV’ is the fastest electric-powered racing car yet produced. It is the result of collaboration between Lola cars and Drayson Racing Technologies.
The electric race car comes with a carbon fiber chassis and the electric motor, the batteries and the cooling system are posisioned behind the driver.
The Lola-Drayson B12/69EV generate up to 850 horsepower (with four electric axial flux Oxford YASA motors) and can fly from zero to 60mph (100 km/hr) in 3 seconds.
The new generation of lithium nanophosphate battery cells will last for around 15 minutes race.
