The Origin Contemporary Craft fair in London this September will feature Lux Craft, a new platform for lighting installations. The pavilion will feature 10 site-specific lighting installations from artists like Ontwerpduo, Loop.pH, Sarah Blood, and Jeremy Cole.
Defining ‘lux’ as the measure of the light intensity as perceived by the human eye, the crafts council established this focused exhibition in response to origin’s new audience of architects and interior designers in town for the London design festival.
Lux Craft will appear as a micro-show within the Origin pavilion in Old Spitalfields Market from 22-28 September 2011.
Has been designed specifically to create the optimum display conditions to show each installation effectively. The final design for Lux Craft will be determined by the selected works.
The Lux Craft exhibition has been design to display suspended lighting installations and to create a more open space within the Origin pavilion.
Visitors will be able to pass freely below the installations viewing them from all angles whilst enjoying a more open space within Origin.
