Massive tornado outbreak in the U.S.

On Saturday April 14, 2012 a single supercell thunderstorm produced numerous tornadoes across northern Oklahoma into southern Kansas.

The video shows the strong flow of warm, moist air from the Gulf moving into the advancing cold front. It was created using data from the GOES-13 (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) satellite data, from Saturday night, April 14 to April 15, 2012.

The satellite operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
