The Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupé, which may be called the CLA, mixes styling cues from the recently-launched A-Class and the CLS-Class and is designed to accommodate four passengers. It features a large panoramic roof which is expected to be available on high-end models.
The Concept Style is given genuine coupe styling with the frameless side windows, the skinny exterior mirrors and the turbine-like 21-inch alloy wheels. It is 182 inches long (a bit longer than a C-Class), 74 inches wide, and 55 inches high.
The car’s interior is inspired by the A-Class, and will include Mercedes’ COMAND Online infotainment system.
In the dashboard the jet engine-like air vents change color depending on what temperature the climate control is set to.
The Coupé is powered by a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 208 horsepower.
The power is sent to four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The production will make its public debut next fall at the Paris Motor Show.
