The new S-Class 2014 is the world’s first vehicle with 100% LED lighting inside and out.
Has multi-contour seats with available Hot Stone Massage.
The world’s first genuine multiuser media system.
Stereoscopic camera that can warn driver of potential dangers faster than any other system in the world.
PRE-SAFE® PLUS anticipatory occupant protection technology with pedestrian recognition and autonomous braking.
DISTRONIC PLUS® adaptive cruise control with Steering Assist to keep you centered within lane.
Dramatically backlit and appearing to simply float in space, the radically redesigned driver display consists of two 12.3-inch high-resolution screens. Housing the instrument cluster, driver assistance systems, infotainment and more, its ultra-intuitive operating logic adapts to your preferences as you drive.
The all new for 2014, PRE-SAFE® PLUS can detect an imminent front- or rear-end collision and trigger a host of occupant protection measures, including PRE-SAFE® Impulse. This new innovation can pull driver and front passenger tightly into their seats, and then release ever so slightly upon impact to lessen the risk of injury from the seatbelt itself. Meanwhile, PRE-SAFE® Brake can apply up to 100% of braking force to help prevent a secondary collision.
Power and speed are easy. What’s difficult is delivering them with silken authority. Under the flowing, sculpted hood of the 2014 S-Class beats an eight-cylinder heart, a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V-8, its 455-hp and 516 lb-ft of torque sent through an advanced seven-speed transmission in an effortless wave of acceleration. But that’s the essence of the S-Class: making the difficult look easy.
