Nanosolar a Germany-based manufacturer, prints solar cells and assembles panels to enable the most cost-efficient solar electricity. The company has recently completed a 1-megawatt solar panel installation in California.

It uses printing rather than constructive technology, resulting the energy costs under 1 USD per watt, whereas conventional cells approximate 2-3 USD per watt.
