The Necker Nymph is a three-person, open-cockpit submersible, kept at the private island resort Necker Island, in the Caribbean Sea, owned by the British billionaire Sir Richard Branson.
The Necker Nymph was built in 2010 by Hawkes Ocean Technologies at a cost of $690,000, can be launched from shore using a specially designed trailer.
It uses downward ‘lift’, so in the event of a power failure, would simply float to the surface.
The Necker Nymph is 15-feet long and weighs roughly 750 kgs. Can dive up to 40 meters down, for a 2 hours trip.

Amazing ! The Necker Nymph is also capable of 360-degree maneuvers, giving us an opportunity to explore the world’s oceans in an entirely new and exciting way.
