Named Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge— for the late philanthropist and designed by visionary architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava.
The structure will link West Dallas/North Oak Cliff with the downtown area.
At a length of 418.5m and rising 400 feet the bridge carries 6 lanes of traffic across the water.
