The Nike Vapor 360 designed with insight from Carlos Gonzalez, one of the most exciting baseball defensive outfielders, features Hyperfuse construction and dynamic Nike Flywire.
The new glove helps athletes reach their potential through an ‘impossibly lightweight construction’ and features zero break-in technology.

According to Nike:

Traditional leather baseball gloves can take up to three months of breaking in. With an engineered perforated pattern on the leather palm, the Nike Vapor 360 provides a responsive, game-ready feel without sacrificing strength and structure. Popular methods for breaking in a glove, such as using shaving cream, sticking it in an oven or wrapping it with rubber bands can now be left in the past.

Matthew Hudson, Nike Baseball Senior Designer, said:

“We’ve taken a traditional leather for the palm and perforated it to remove some of the structure so it forms more quickly. Therefore, the glove is ready to use straight out of the box.”

The strong and super-light Flywire lacing system and high-frequency welded technology make the glove ultra responsive. We inserted a tunable part under the skin, so when the glove is worn, the thumb and pinky can be shaped as the player likes.”
